Smile Club
What is the Smile Club?
The Smile Club is a one-chair dental clinic right inside the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County’s Berard Center, offered in partnership with Noble Community Clinics. Club members can get free dental care and education, no matter their insurance or family income. Youth see a licensed dental hygienist for cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and x-rays, and a dentist is available to provide exams at no cost. If a youth needs additional treatment, families are connected to Noble Community Clinic in Stevens Point for follow-up care.
How can I sign my child(ren) up for Smile Club dental services?
Signing up for Smile Club dental services is included as part of the membership application, which can be found online through the Caregiver Portal. If you are not a Boys & Girls Club member but would still like to participate in Smile Club, please contact Noble Community Clinics.
To make an appointment or inquire further, please contact phone: (800)-942-5330

Why participate in the Toothbrushing Program?
Regular toothbrushing is important for both children and adults because it removes bacteria and plaque that cause tooth decay and gum disease. It is recommended that everyone brush their teeth twice a day – every morning and before bed. Youth might forget to brush their teeth, but the Toothbrushing Program is here to help keep smiles healthy!
The program will provide a valuable tool for reinforcing good oral health and help reduce painful cavities. Each child will also learn the importance of brushing their teeth.
- Each child will receive their own toothbrush.
- Children will brush their teeth after breakfast or morning snack in groups.
- Each toothbrush will be sanitized daily in -the Boys & Girls Club’s UV sanitizer.
