We encourage our youth to be successful in all things academics. At the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County we are able to provide our youth with access to tools and technology that prepare them for the 21st century.
Power Hour
Power Hour offers a structured time and place for Club staff, academic tutors and volunteers to help Club kids succeed academically as well as become self-directed, resourceful and independent learners.
Club Tech
Club Tech is a program that teaches our youth to develop the technology skills necessary to succeed in school and in the job market.
STEAM
Is a hands-on, activity based science, technology, education, arts and mathematics curriculum which connects youth to science themes they encounter regularly.
Summer Brain Gain: Is comprised of one-week modules with fun, themed activities for elementary school aged students that are aligned with common core standards.
