Our Vision
Each year, we are serving more youth than previous years. While this is an incredible achievement, we simply can't keep up with the growing demand.
The lack of dedicated space has become a significant barrier to expanding career exploration and hands-on learning.
This campaign will fund a 15,000 square-foot Teen Center and cafeteria addition at the Schierl Center, along with two additional program spaces for elementary-aged youth.
This new Teen Center will not replace the Berard Teen Center in Stevens Point but rather strengthen the Club's ability to serve teens in both Stevens Point and Plover.

Why This Matters
For the past six years, the Club has studied enrollment trends, evaluated community growth, and listened to families and schools to address the increasing need for youth and teen programming in Portage County. One reality is clear: our current space is no longer sufficient to meet demand.
The Plover Center has seen a significant increase in demand for programming, especially during summer months, highlighting the need for an additional dedicated teen space to serve older youth.
This facility is the most cost-effective and scalable way to meet this need while creating space for teen programming, workforce readiness, and skill-building.
