How do I sign my child up to be a member?

How much does it cost to become a member at the Club?

Costs vary per location based on age and grade, but are very affordable. Please refer to your Club site's webpage for specifics. If you need to set up a payment plan, please contact us. 

 


What are the Club hours?

Club hours vary per location and differ on school days versus no school days and in summer. Please refer to your Club site's webpage for specifics. 

 


What age range do you provide services for?

Our Centers require children to be in 1st grade or higher, whereas our Rural Extensions (Junction City, Rosholt, Amherst, Almond-Bancroft) accept children in kindergarten if they are at least 6 years old. Please refer to your Club site's webpage for specifics. 

 


Do you provide membership fee scholarships?

Families who qualify for their school's Free or Reduced-Priced meal program will pay no more than $10 per Club member per session. 

 


Do you provide meals and snacks?

Club members are offered snacks daily at each of our sites. Club members at our Berard Center, Teen Center, Schierl Center, and Rosholt Extension are offered supper after school. Breakfast and lunch are offered on no-school days. All snacks and meals are free of charge. Click here to learn more about our Snack & Meal Program. 

 


Are you open during school breaks or holidays?

Active members can sign up to attend BGC on no-school days at the Berard Center, Teen Center, and Schierl Center, based on Membership Boundaries. Signup in the Caregiver Portal is required. Clubs are closed on unplanned no-school days such as snow days. 

 


What programs do you offer?

We offer a wide range of programming including the areas of sports & recreation, education, health & wellness, education, the arts, leadership & service, and workforce development. Information about our programs can be found here



What should my child bring with them to the Club?

We ask that Club members wear tennis shoes if possible and dress for the weather, but they are not required to bring anything. Items of value or toys should be left at home. 



Do you have summer programming? 

Many of our Club sites run all-day programming in the summer Monday through Thursday or Friday, but days and hours vary per location. Please refer to your Club site's webpage for specifics.
