“I would like to thank the businesses that have decided to help the Boys & Girls Club of Portage County by sponsoring our first ever “Support Our Local Kids” campaign, June 20 to 25. These businesses have offered their support by making a donation to the Boys & Girls Club; some will donate a percentage of sales, while others will donate for every customer who mentions the campaign.

Sponsors include the Stevens Point Journal, Taco Bell, Emy J’s, Domino’s Pizza, Stevens Point Subways (four locations), the Mission Coffee House, the Blueberry Muffin, Guu’s, Willy’s II, Culvers, Spiedini’s, Holiday Inn, Country Inn and Suites, Dun-Rite Cleaners and the Plover and Park Ridge locations of Marathon Travel Shops. We would like the community to get involved by patronizing these sponsors and mentioning the Boys & Girls Club when doing so.

The Boys & Girls Club of Portage County is a place for children and youth to learn and grow in a positive, fun atmosphere. The Boys & Girls Club continues to grow as it now has locations in Stevens Point, Junction City, Madison View Apartments, Amherst and the newest addition in Plover.
