 Fine Arts Exhibit

This competition, encouraging creativity through a variety of media, is made up of local, regional and national exhibits. Young people from 6-18 years of age are encouraged to create artwork in any of the following categories: monochromatic drawing, multicolored drawing, pastels, water color, oil or acrylic, print making, mixed media, collage and sculpture. Artwork selected at each selected moves on to the next level of competition, with national winners being selected at the national BGCA conference.

Locally, BGC members work on art projects throughout the year, but especially in the fall, with selected pieces showcased at an annual exhibit at Mark Motors in Plover, WI. Winners from this competition move on to the Regional Exhibit.


MusicMakers is a music education program focused on introducing youth to different types of instruments, basic playing instruction, and many of the related elements on making music. The BGC-PC has many instruments available for use by Club members, including, guitars, keyboards, drums, a variety of horns,  woodwinds, and more.


Drama education builds self-confidence, sparks creativity and boosts academic achievement for beginner, intermediate and advanced members. Each session can be adapted to fit the age of participants. Sessions consist of a short warm-up; a main activity of games, script work or performance; and a 10-minute cool-down.
